  Luang Phor Pisadoo of Wat Tayp Taan Thong temple, Chanthaburi province was one of the greatest gurus who lived to the age of 88 years passed away on 14th April B.E. 2554. He was born on 2nd February B.E 2466 in Koh Kong province of Cambodia. He ordained as a novice monk at the age of 15 in Wat Gor Bpor and moved to Wat Lam Da Won of Trat province at the age of 16 to refuge from war.

 

  When Luang Phor Pisadoo reached the age of 21, he ordained as a Buddhist monk in Wat Chanthanaram under Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo as his preceptor on the 17th July B.E. 2487. He studied Buddhism under the guidance of Ajahn Lee in Wat Paa Khlawng Kung. Luang Phor Pisadoo is a very talented monk who can memorize the teaching of Buddhism impart from Taan Por Lee using a very short period of time. Just when Luang Phor Pisadoo has Pan Saa for 10 years, he went to Tudong to the Northern part of Thailand to seek for other great gurus who can guide him more on Dharma and magical practices.

 

  Luang Phor Pisadoo resided in Wat Chedi Luang of Chiang Mai province for a year and inherited Dharma and Magical practice from many great gurus such as Luang Pu Duen Chalathamo of Wat Arun Vivak Ban Kha of Nakhon Phanom province. After a year in Wat Chedi Luang, Luang Phor Pisadoo travels to Wat Sai Ngam of Chanthaburi and stayed for 5 Pan Saa. 

 

  In the year of 2520, Luang Phor Pisadoo received instruction to move to Wat Tayp Taan Thong. During that time, Wat Tayp Taan Thong which was located in the middle of the forest was a deserted temple in a very bad living condition without any monks living in the temple. It took about 2 years for Luang Phor Pisadoo to reinstate the temple to a better condition going through a lot of hardship and officially appointed as the abbot of Wat Tayp Taan Thong in B.E. 2542. 

 

  During the year of B.E. 2542, 7 days before the rainy season started, Luang Phor Pisadoo warned the villagers to be very careful about the upcoming season as he has visions a big catastrophe of a landslide will occur around the mountain area. Many of the villages chose to ignore Luang Phor Pisadoo's advice and not long after, a major landslide causes hundreds to thousands of logs flow from the streams and travels at a very rapid speed and destroyed everything along its way. However, when these logs reached Wat Tayp Taan Thong, they will just pass through Wat Tayp Taan Tong by the side of the temple without damaging any of the structure or injured anyone within the temple compound. After this miracle incident, many of the news and reporter started to head to Wat Tayp Taan Thong to report about this incident. As the news spread, more and more of the believers started to seek for Luang Phor Pisadoo for a blessing.
